The truth about Splenda

  1. Hmmm, that is very interesting. Last week I just studied artificial sweeteners for a food science class, and also came to the conclusion that sugar alcohols are not very good substitutes for real sugars. I hadn't heard the reasoning that Sayer used in his last paragraph, but it makes sense that the body doesn't like being "tricked."
